The demand for professionals in information technology (IT) is high and the competition for jobs is intense. This year too, talent shortage is a big concern for most recruiters. Some 70 per cent of the recruiters say the right talent as a major challenge. Their next big grouse was the high salary expectations from a Fresh job seeker.
Graduates are groomed to become able resources with relevant skills needed to get employed. Graduates are trained to meet the Industry expectations and develop confidence to face the companies’ selection process. Eminent Human Resource Executives from various Industries are invited frequently to give guidance on the expectations of Industries from fresh Graduates/Engineers. Candidates are well informed and guided to set their goals and mentored to achieve it. Candidates get complete guidance from TPC about preparing for placement in their chosen field or corporate or industry.
Various placement training programs such as solving Aptitude questions, Group Discussion skills, Interview Techniques, Resume preparation, etc., are arranged for all students to equip well to participate in campus recruitment interviews.
The industry is always on the lookout for students who are vibrant, energetic individuals and ready to accept challenges, attentive, a good academic background, fast learners, open to learning even at work and more importantly, good communication skills.
We pioneered Hi- End- Training with the aim of building careers and competencies that tomorrow would require. The following are to aim to accomplish tasks in every student.
This activity focuses upon the personality development to make the students reliable, with positive attitude and right decision making.
1. They don’t brand themselves.
2. They begin job-hunting without knowing their value to employers.
3. They rely on one (broken) method in their job search.
4. They neglect their networks.
5. They forget to customize their resume for different opportunities.
6. They fail to research employers before job interviews.
7. They stay too long in recruiting pipelines that are going nowhere.
8. They let employers drive their job search instead of driving it themselves.
9. They take the first job offer they get, no matter how disappointing it is — and then they don’t job-hunt again until that job goes away.
10. Forgetting that not every employer deserves their talents.
